Hey all! This is from a few friends of the Bowden's - we're pirating the blog to highlight a couple of different ways that you can help them during Tracy's illness.
1. The first is providing meals for them. Drew stays at the house during the week due to school and has a neighbor staying with him. The meals keep him healthy and he brings food down to AA when he goes for the weekends. Check out http://www.takethemameal.com/meals.php?t=MQSA5985
2. Rob is staying about 100 yards from Tracy - looking out their windows you can see the rooms. It's a couple elevators away, but has been a great convenience. It is called the Med Inn (within the University of Michigan). He has reluctantly agreed to allow others to donate a night at the inn – if they are so inclined. This would be a great way to help lessen their financial burden – while allowing us to feel like we are helping in some small way. The cost per night is $75.00 and The Inn’s phone number is 734-936-0100 to provide credit card information. If someone does donate a night – please ask them to let Rob know so that he can be sure the hotel properly credits the account. Otherwise – he would have no way to know.
Of course, keep up the prayers, phone calls (Rob is on Skype!), visits, cards, and other ways you are encouraging them.
