Quick Update, Prayers are needed.

Drew and I went home together last night, so that I could see our doctor this morning for some sleep medication.  I got it and then went to work and took care of things there.  I got to A2 around 2PM.  I talked with a couple of doctors, a social worker and our insurance broker and finally got to Tracy's room around 3PM.   Se was tired because she had just received her Ativan.   I stayed with her for about an hour and half, when Glenn and Lennie Joseph called to take me to dinner.  We had a great time and went to an Italian restaurant called Pasano's.  Then to have LAB for coffee, don't worry I had decaf.  It was so good to see them and were just what I needed.

I got back to Tracy's room around 8:45PM and was told Tracy was asking for me earlier!  Praise God!  I needed to hear that, the nurses said that she had been quite chatty.

I stayed with her for about an hour and then headed back to the room to make some phone calls which are done now.

Prayers are always needed and greatly appreciated.  Even got one from a friend on the cell phone while waiting to get gas, thanks Smoke!

Tomorrow prayers are greatly needed, obviously for Tracy as she receives treatment 23.  But we are scheduled to have a 4PM meeting with several of the doctors to hopefully get us all on the same page.  So pray for this meeting as the medical doctors are trying to push Tracy out and the psychiatric doctors are trying to keep us on the 5th floor, last I knew.

I have much animosity for the medical doctors, as those from around here know all about their commercials and attitude, "U of M Medical the leaders and the best", with heads high and chests all puffed up!  Well they don't have an answer for Tracy, so discharge to the 9th floor or to sub acute rehabilitation are their answers.  Leaders and best?  Our current medical doctor can't even refer us to another doctor or clinic anywhere, because as he says that's not what we do, because we solve the issues other community hospitals can't.  Hello! What about my wife?  Oh I forgot arrogance too!  So pray for me to keep my temper, you all know I am a big teddy bear but this doctor is about to poke Papa Bear one to many times.

Also pray for safe travels for the following people who are coming out to support us, Drew our son, Ron my brother, Lisa Harrison a dear friend and devoted visitor, and either Dan or Linda Longo who are dear friends and our families medical experts.

Thanks for the prayers!

God Bless and "Never Give Up... Never Ever Give Up!"

Rob
