Well we made it to U of M. The transfer took all day as we waited for a bed and finally got settled in the room around 10PM. Tracy was very agitated with her new surroundings and really has adjusted to them yet. I spent the night in the room with Tracy and actually got a few hours of sleep.
Not only did we have trouble getting Tracy a bed, we had trouble getting Drew and my brother Ron a bed, as all of the motels in the area were full. Finally a nurse suggested that we try the Med Inn which is located inside the hospital. I was told they are only available on a first come, first serve basis. Well God was on our side and they had one. I have the same room and it is very convenient, as I can see Tracy's room from my window and can walk there in less than 5 minutes.
So far we have already met with 5 different doctors who are very intrigued by Tracy's condition. So much so that I have probably spent close to 4 hours myself answering questions.
I feel that this is the place where we need to be.
Drew and Ron have returned home this evening to Troy, while I stay here in Ann Arbor. Thanks Keith Immick and Dan Longo, I have our car to get around as one of them drove it and the other followed in their car to get back home. Thanks Guys!!
I am off to bed, this is the earliest I think I have gotten to bed since late October.
Sweet Dreams and God Bless,
Rob
